Highly sensitive, A-grade paper that guarantees good readability.
USE
These are rolls for cash register tickets and bank terminals.
Suitable for use in fixed and mobile payment terminals ( Visa - Bancontact - Mistercash ) - cash register systems.
These rolls are suitable for receipt printers of the brands Axiohm, Citizen, Epson, Samsung, Star and many others.
Do you have one of these machines, then this is the right type of paper roll.
ROLL PROPERTIES
Thermal rolls come in different diameters and widths.
This is because not every ticket printer uses the same size.
The dimensions of a roll are always expressed as follows: Width (in mm) x Outer diameter (in mm) x Core diameter (in mm) x Length of paper on roll (in m)
For our 57x60x12x49.9 this gives us:
Width: 57mm
Outer diameter: 60mm
Inner diameter: 12mm
Length: 49.9m
WITHOUT BPA
Paper guaranteed without bisphenol A, compliant with European regulations banning thermal paper containing BPA as of January 1, 2020.
The problem: When handling former thermal rolls, traces of BPA come into contact with your hands.
Several studies show that as a result of BPA exposure, hormone and brain malfunctions, diabetes and heart damage can occur, as well as an increase in cancer risk.
Reasons enough to therefore ban this substance in our products.
'BPA-free' rolls contribute to the health of people, animals and the environment.
THERMAL PAPER
This roll is made of thermal 1-fold paper, the most commonly used paper for ticket printers.
With this type of paper, the paper is heated by the print head of your device, which creates a print on the paper
The main advantage of thermal paper is that the paper is the only consumable and there is no need to refill ink or toner in the printer.
GRAMMAGE: 48G
The weight of paper is determined by the number of grams weighed per square meter.
You may have heard that a regular A4 sheet is 80 grams, or 80g/m².
Well in thermal rolls the most common weights are 48 grams per m² (=48g) and 55 grams per m² (=55g) paper.
The standard on the market is becomming more and more the 48g instead of 55g.
The difference with the 55 grams paper rolls is the paper thickness, market demand for cheaper rolls has resulted in a 48 grams paper roll.
This paper roll can be used in the same devices as the 55 grams, but the paper just feels a bit thinner.
The advantage of a 48 g paper roll is that, because it is thinner, there is more paper (length) on the paper roll.
PROTECTION
These thermal rolls are delivered in a carton box for optimal protection of the rolls against light and transport.
Within that carton, they are also packed per 5 in a plastic foil to also obtain protection against moisture.
